Bio
Annette Dashofy is the USA Today best-selling author of more than a dozen mystery novels including the Zoe Chambers mystery series about a paramedic and deputy coroner in rural Pennsylvania’s tight-knit Vance Township. Seven of her books have been Agatha Award finalists including an Agatha nomination for Best Contemporary Novel of 2023 for HELPLESS, the 12th in the series. Her standalone, DEATH BY EQUINE, set in the world of Thoroughbred racing, won the 2021 Dr. Tony Ryan Book Award. She has a new series, the Detective Honeywell Mysteries from One More Chapter: HarperCollins UK starting with WHERE THE GUILTY HIDE. The second in the series, KEEP YOUR FAMILY CLOSE, is available everywhere in digital and in paperback in the UK (and will be available in the US soon). Annette’s short fiction includes a 2007 Derringer Award nominee. She is represented by Paula Munier and Talcott Notch Literary. Annette is the current president of the Pittsburgh Chapter of Sisters in Crime and serves as a board member of Pennwriters, was their 2013 recipient of the Meritorious Service Award, and was their Saturday keynote speaker at the 2017 Pennwriters Conference. Annette and her husband live on part of what used to be her grandfather’s dairy farm in southwestern Pennsylvania with one very spoiled cat.
